So, in mid-January I suffered a fractured and displaced left wrist while playing 5-a-side football. As you can imagine, not great. My fretting hand wrist was shattered, but thankfully my fingers had movement and weren't damaged. After having it set twice in hospital and 6 weeks in a cast, it emerged with minimal movement or strength. When I was able to pick up a guitar, I couldn't get my hand into the correct position let alone having the strength to hold the strings down. T
